Worst Kind 02:35
I bet you would Right behind her, baby Give up the goods For a summer with a midnight lady Your leather coat is your undercover Hide all your ghosts From your childhood in the suburbs, suburbs Oh, a punk is always right Oh, a coward is the worst kind, worst kind
2.
Reject Me 02:17
Infect me protect me control me reduce me reuse me reject me repeat me perfect me reference me It's just a sign of the times No one remembers the names of yesterday They'll throw you right out the line When they grow tired of you Cuz you are you Infantilize Commercialize Fanaticize Obliterate Reiterate Memorialize Cuz you, cuz you are Cuz you, cuz you are Cuz you, Cuz you are you It's just a sign of the times No one remembers the names of yesterday They'll throw you right out the line When they grow tired of you Cuz you are you, cuz you are you, cuz you are you...

Mental 03:42
I feel alone this time I'm feeling on this time I don't give a, I don't give a Who is the one this time Not 25 this time I am the dealer of my time I don't give a, I don't give a Who is the pawn this time Time, Time, Time Time, Time, Time I'm sick of their lies of making up faults But I'm beginning to fade away I'm sick of their lies of making up faults but I'm beginning to fade away...
4.
Suburbia 02:42
The highway melts beneath the sun, the skies are creepin Suburban waterfalls, the cars are filled with sadness Lemonade sorbet mouths are drippin with resentments Surburbia, suburbia I never wanted anything, anything, anything I never wanted anything, anything, anything Anything, anything, anything, anything, anything Suburbia, suburbia...
5.
Waste Away 03:23
I saw the worst, and I started comin around You said the words, and we parted, no comin' around What is the big idea, you get no second chances There is no unicorn What is the big idea, you get no second chances There is no unicorn I see the way they keep on givin it all So young and so free they give it away Waste away...

about

Motel Pools is a grunge project started by Angelicola in 2015. Spin describes MP as having “grit and grime” while Impose Magazine described Motel Pools as “a particularly delectable style of fashionable destitution." Friend Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio worked beside Chiara as producer for the Motel Pools debut EP in 2015, and Angelicola produced Volume II along with directing the three music videos for “Waste Away”, “Lemme Walk Your Dog”, which features Ryan Katzner of Man Man, and “Suburbia”.
Abrasive yet darling, earnest and playful, Chiara delivers a body of work that reckons with the perils of the ruthless music industry, her childhood suburban haunts, and former lovers.
